A Part of Our Community

Community Ambulance Service of Minot prides itself on maintaining a positive relationship with the many areas we serve. We believe that taking care of the community begins even before the need to dial 911 takes place.

We feel it is important to always be involved in community events, educating the public and offering advice in order to keep them safe. CAS provides standby service for many large events, including The North Dakota State Fair and Hostfest, as well a number of concerts, rodeos and airshows throughout the state. CAS also participates in many charitable events, including The View's annual Burger Cook-off and the YMCA's annual chili-cook off.  These events are enjoyable for those involved and are great for families to attend as well.

Come Check Us Out (Tours)

We love the community we work in and are always here to help! Tours of the CAS facility can be scheduled by appointment, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. Visitors get an up close look at the station itself, along with the ambulance, while also learning more about the equipment and tools we use. This is a great opportunity to see us and understand more about our world outside of an emergency setting.

Community Events

North Dakota State Fair

Every year the city of Minot hosts the North Dakota State Fair (NDSF).  This event brings in thousands of people to the community.  Community Ambulance Service has always provided a First Aid Booth on the fairgrounds and coverage for events during all nine days of the fair.

For Community Ambulance Service this means extra calls and shifts taken on by our staff.  Even though it can be challenging, the staff continues to work hard and make sure that there is plenty of coverage for all of the exciting events that take place at the North Dakota State Fair.  People are able to utilize our services for things ranging from a band-aid on a blister to taking care of injuries one may have gotten while at the fair.  While many people come over to the first aid booth with very minor needs, the staff is always more than willing to help with any questions someone may have.

Along with the First Aid Booth, Community Ambulance service provides ambulance crews to stand by at the events that are going on during the fair.  This year the events ranged from a Tim McGraw concert, to rodeos, and even races.

While this year saw new records for attendance at the NDSF, we were fortunate enough to not have any major injuries.  The weather cooperated and stayed mild and that made it easier for families to go out and enjoy the fair without worrying about overheating.

Even though the fair is over, it is an enjoyable event for us here at Community Ambulance.  We take great pride in being able to be a part of everything that goes on at the NDSF and being able to serve our community.

Thank you to the NDSF board for making us a part of everything and we cannot wait to be back out there again next year!
